• Jessica

  Jessica Jones, Owner – Jessica Jones is the proud on-site owner of The Goddard School located in Edwardsville, IL. While Jessica’s personal life is devoted to her family, her professional life has been devoted to business, the development of our youth, and helping successfully lead and manage people. Her ultimate goal is to continue making your family’s Goddard experience exceptional, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for your children to become confident learners as they develop. Jessica has her master’s degree in Business Administration and an undergraduate degree in Public Relations.

• Sandy

  Sandy Montgomery, Owner – Sandy Montgomery graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education as well as Masters Degree in Education. Sandy taught elementary Physical Education at St. Boniface School here in Edwardsville and then went on to have a career as a Senior Level Administrator and Softball Coach at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for many years. Sandy is an active member of the Edwardsville community and currently works as a Realtor for Bev George and Associates. Sandy is excited to bring an employee and child-centric culture to our school and enjoys being with her family as well as watching sports.

• Jennifer

  Ms. Jennifer Graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She obtained a vast array of leadership skills while serving on multiple educational associations, working as a residential assistant, and operating an emergent business. She is active in the community and serves as a member of The Edwardsville Rotary Club. She has over fifteen years of experience working with students in all age groups and abilities. She is very passionate that every child should have the best start to their early educational years and truly believes that our school offers that education for each individual child. Our high standards of excellence and hands-on based curriculum has no comparison. Children have fun and teachers maintain developmentally appropriate activities for all age groups while learning through play. She looks forward to ensuring that our school creates an environment where strong relationships between teachers, children, and families exist. "I believe that all children are capable of learning if they have the proper motivation and direction. • Ms Caroline

  Ms. Caroline: Teacher, Get Set Classroom - Ms. Caroline is pursuing her Elementary Education Degree at Lewis and Clark College in Edwardsville, Il. Ms. Caroline comes with over sixteen (16) years experience working with children. Ms. Caroline is CPR and First Aid certified and is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Caroline's free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with family.

• Ms Cathy

  Ms. Cathy: Teacher, Pre-Kindergarten Classroom - Ms. Cathy earned her teaching credentials through Columbus State Community College. Ms. Cathy comes with over twenty-eight (28) years experience working with children. Ms. Cathy is CPR and First Aid certified and is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Cathy's free time, she enjoys scrapbooking and doing needlework.

• Ms Ciearra

  Ms. Ciearra earned her Bachelor's in Early Care and Education from St. Louis Community College. She had been the lead teacher in the Pre-K classroom at Goddard since 2014 and loves watching her former students succeed. Ms. Ciearra has worked with children for over fourteen years and is passionate about giving all students an opportunity to learn and reach their full potential by providing them with proper guidance and resources. She believes in creating a structured classroom environment that welcomes learning through play, collaborating with peers, and promotes creative thinking. Ms. Ciearra is a CPR and First Aid certified, is trained in Medication Administration at the Early Childhood level, and is trained in Severe Allergy Readiness. In Ms. Ciearra’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.

• Ms Mackenzie

  Ms. Kenzie Teacher, Toddler Classroom -Ms. Kenzie obtained an English Literature Degree from SIUE. Ms. Kenzie has been with The Goddard School since 2023. She is trained in recognizing SIDS and SBS. Ms. Kenzie enjoys reading, playing video games, and dancing. Ms. Kenzie's favorite children's book is The Good Egg by Jory John and Pete Oswald.

• Ms Miranda

  Ms. Miranda has nearly 20 years of experience in childcare. She holds a Master’s in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction from UAGC, and is pursuing a second Master’s in Early Childhood Education Leadership. Ms. Miranda has worked in a variety of childcare settings from Early Learning Centers to private homes. Her studies have given her a deeper understanding of child development and the tools needed to provide a high-quality learning environment. She is a proud mother of two boys and spends her free time reading, cooking, and baking with them. As an avid reader, she always has a book on hand and loves to share her passion for literature with her students. Her goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can learn and grow to reach their full potential.

• Ms Morgan

  Ms. Morgan Teacher, Toddler Classroom - Miss Morgan is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood from Kaskaskia College. Miss Morgan has been with The Goddard School since 2023. She has been working with children for over (12) years. She is trained in recognizing SIDS, SBS, CPR & First Aid, Child Trauma, and patient care tech. In her free time, she enjoys decorating, spending time with her chocolate lab, and spending time with family and friends. Miss Morgan helps children develop and succeed by helping students express their emotions, nurturing them, and meeting each child's individual needs.

• Ms Pattie

  Ms. Pattie: Teacher, Young Toddler Classroom. Ms. Pattie earned a Bachelor's in Arts from Tennessee Temple University and an Associate's degree in Early Child Education from Lewis and Clark Community College. She comes with over forty-three (43) years of experience working with children. Ms. Pattie is CPR and First Aid certified and is trained in SIDS and SBS. She is an active member in her community as a volunteer for various organizations. In Ms. Pattie's free time, she enjoys singing, playing piano, embroidering, and reading.

• Ms Stacy

  Ms. Stacy: Teacher, Young Toddler Classroom- Ms. Stacy earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Ms. Stacy has been working with children for over thirty-five (35) years. Ms. Stacy is trained in SIDS and SBS and is CPR and First Aid certified. In Ms. Stacy's free time, she enjoys reading, working crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.

• Ms Stephanie

  Ms. Stephanie: Teacher, Toddler Classroom - Ms. Stephanie attended Southwestern Illinois College. She comes with over twenty (20) years of experience working with children. Ms. Stephanie is CPR and First Aid certified and is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Stephanie's free time, she enjoys playing board and card games and painting miniature figures.

• Ms Tracy

  Ms. Tracy: Teacher, Young Toddler Classroom. Ms. Tracy holds her Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate). She comes with over forty(40) years of experience working with children. Ms. Tracy is CPR and First Aid certified and is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Tracy's free time, she enjoys reading, completing crossword puzzles, and gardening.

• Ms Ashlee

  Ms. Ashlee: Ms. Ashlee holds an ECE Level 1 Credential from Gateways to Opportunity, and comes with over six (6) years of experience working with children. Ms. Ashlee is trained in SIDS, SBS, and CPR. In Ms. Ashlee's free time, she enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family and dog.

• Ms Brianna

  Ms. Brianna: Lead Teacher, Preschool Classroom- Ms. Brianna earned her Associate of Arts Degree from Southwestern Illinois Community College in Belleville Illinois. Ms. Brianna has been working with children for over five (5) years. Ms. Brianna is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Brianna's free time, she volunteers with the Salvation Army ringing bells at Christmas time, enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.

• Ms Caitlin

  Ms. Caitlin: Assistant Teacher, Pre- Kindergarten Classroom- Ms. Caitlin is currently pursuing her CDA (Child Development Associate). She comes with over five (5) years of experience working with children. Ms. Caitlin is trained in SIDS and SBS. She also holds a Food Sanitation License. In Ms. Caitlin's free time, she enjoys painting, watching movies, exploring nature, and playing video games.

• Ms Diana

  Ms. Diana: Assistant Teacher Infant Classroom- Ms. Diana has been with The Goddard School since 2023. Ms. Diana has been working with children for over (6) years. Ms. Diana is currently pursuing her Infant/Toddler CDA. She is trained in SIDS, SBS, CPR, and food handlers. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and catching up on her favorite movies/shows.

• Ms Elaina

  Ms. Elaina: Assistant Teacher, Preschool Classroom- Ms. Elaina is working towards obtaining her CDA (Child Development Associate) and comes with over ten (10) years of experience working with children. Ms. Elaina is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Elaina's free time, she enjoys spending time exploring nature and spending time with family.

• Ms Hannah

  Ms. Hannah obtained an Associate in English from Lewis and Clark Community College. Miss Hannah has been with The Goddard School since 2023. Miss Hannah has been working with children for over ten (10) years. She is trained in recognizing SIDS and SBS. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and reading and writing.

• Ms Jacie

  Ms. Jacie: Assistant Teacher, Infant Classroom- Miss Jacie is currently pursuing her Early Childhood Degree from Grand Canyon University. Miss Jacie has been with The Goddard School since 2023. She is trained in recognizing SIDS and SBS. Ms. Jacie enjoys walking with her dog, reading, knitting, and catching up on her favorite shows. Ms. Jacie's favorite children's include the "Once Before a Time" series books by Christy Webster and. Holly Hatam. The series is a prehistoric retelling of classic fairy tales.

• Ms Mackenzie

  Ms. Mackenzie: Get Set Classroom- Ms. Mackenzie is working towards obtaining her CDA (Child Development Associate) and comes with over ten (10) years of experience working with children. Ms. Mackenzie is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Mackenzie's free time, she enjoys caring for her dog, reading, hiking, and taking pictures.

• Ms Melissa

  Ms. Melissa: Assistant Teacher Infant Classroom- Ms. Melissa is working towards obtaining a degree in Early Childhood Education and comes with over twelve (12) years of experience working with children. Ms. Melissa is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Melissa's free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and teaching her daughters to cook.

• Ms Rebecca

  Ms. Rebecca: Lead Teacher Infant Classroom- Ms. Rebecca is working towards obtaining a degree in Early Childhood Education and comes with over six (6) years of experience working with children. Ms. Rebecca is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Rebecca's free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

• Ms Sophia

  Ms. Sophia is currently pursuing her Medical Assistant degree from Ultimate Medical Academy. She comes with over seven (7) years of experience working with children. Ms. Sophia is CPR and First Aid certified and is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Sophia's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

• Ms Tamara

  Ms. Tammy: Assistant Teacher PreK Classroom- Ms. Tammy holds an Associates Degree in Child Psychology from Southwestern Illinois College Belleville, Illinois, and comes with over forty (40) years of experience working with children. Ms. Tammy is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Tammy's free time, she enjoys sewing, playing games with her sons, and visiting her daughter.

• Ms Ariel

  Ms. Ariel is working towards obtaining her CDA (Child Development Associate) and comes with over two (2) years of experience working with children. Ms. Ariel is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Ariel's free time, she enjoys crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family.

• Ms Cherie

  Ms. Cherie is currently pursuing a degree in Business from State College of Florida. Miss Cherie has been with The Goddard School since 2023. Miss Cherie has been working with children for over thirty (30) years. She is trained in SIDS and SBS. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.

• Ms Emily

  Ms. Emily: Support Staff, Various Classrooms- Ms. Emily is currently pursuing her CDA (Child Development Associate) and comes with over six (6) years of experience working with children. Ms. Emily is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Emily's free time, she enjoys photography.

• Ms JaiLynn

  Ms. JaiLynn: Kitchen Coordinator- Ms. JaiLynn comes with over nine (9) years of experience working in culinary. Ms. JaiLynn holds her Illinois Food Service Sanitation Manager certificate. In Ms. JaiLynn's free time, she enjoys reading, riding her bike, and working in the yard with my flowers.

• Ms Jaylei

  Ms. Jaylei is currently pursuing an Early Childhood Degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Miss Jaylei has been with The Goddard School since 2023. She has been working with children for over five (11) years. She is trained in recognizing SIDS and SBS. In her free time, she enjoys teaching dance to children and spending time with friends and family.

• Ms Jazmen

  Ms. Jazmen is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood from Lewis and Clark Community College. Miss Jazmen has been with The Goddard School since 2023. Miss Jazmen has been working with children for over five (5) years. She is trained in SIDS and SBS. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.

• Ms Lauren

  Ms. Lauren is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood from Southwestern Illinois College. Miss Lauren has been with The Goddard School since 2023. She is trained in SIDS and SBS. She volunteers in her neighborhood to help keep her community clean. In her free time, she enjoys walking, playing basketball, and spending time with friends.

• Ms Marissa

  Ms. Marissa: Support Staff, Infant Classrooms. Ms. Marissa is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She comes with over four (4) years of experience working with children. Ms. Marissa is CPR and First Aid certified and is trained in SIDS and SBS. In Ms. Marissa's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and golfing.

• Ms Rylee

  Ms. Bee is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Development from Purdue University. Miss Bee has been with The Goddard School since 2024. Miss Bee has been working with children for over eight (8) years. She is trained in SIDS and SBS. In her free time, she enjoys reading and doing diamond art paintings.
